The Reference Materials Unit of the Joint Research Centre is looking to purchase human serum with elevated cystatin C values, needed in the commutability study of ERM-DA471k/IFCC. The serum samples are divided in 3 x Lots of in total 21–36 donations from individual donors, containing different levels of elevated Cystatin C and only once frozen. This higher order reference material is developed together with the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) in accordance with the in-vitro diagnostics (EU Regulation 2017/746). The Contracting authority exceptionally accepts participation of economic operators not established in a country with access to the contracting authority’s procurement. Such economic operators are invited to participate in this call for tenders on an exceptional basis. This invitation does not create a precedent or an obligation for the future.
