EIC Corporate Partnership Programme 4.0

Official description

This tender aims to follow up with the work developed by the EIC with large corporations and support the announcement made in the Startups and Scaleups Strategy on the creation of a European Corporate Network. The general objective is to increase the industrial uptake of deep tech innovations in Europe by supporting the collaboration between large corporations and deep tech startups/scaleups, in particular EIC-backed start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs. Specific objectives: - Develop and upgrade the EIC (Multi-)Corporate Days activities. - Offer expert dedicate assistance to EIC Awardees and committed large corporations to develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs), Pilots and other activities translatable into scalable impactful businesses. - Provide comprehensive support for the establishment and management of the new “European Corporate Network”, including fora and working groups to facilitate the development and sharing of best practices in corporate venturing and facilitate the organisation of activities designed following the findings and conclusions of the ECN. - Position the EIC as a centre of excellence for corporate-startup collaboration.

3.2.1 · Legal and Regulatory Capacity

Tenderers can be natural or legal persons. Tenderers are not obliged to take a specific legal form to submit their tenders. Where tenderers submit a tender through an entity, which lacks legal personality (e.g., a branch), the compliance with the exclusion criteria, selection criteria, the rules on access to procurement as well as the absence of restrictive measures shall be assessed at the level of the tenderers. Tenderers do not need to prove specific legal and regulatory capacity to perform the contract.

3.2.2 · Economic and Financial Capacity

Tenderers must comply with the following selection criteria in order to prove that they have the necessary economic and financial capacity to perform the contract.

The tenderer must prove experience in the field of business training/coaching/mentoring to private companies working on deep tech areas and have a capacity to mobilize experts for the establishing business deals.

At least 1 lead project manager responsible for the project management, including the full overseeing of the contract service delivery, coordinating the contractor's staff, activities and communication, and become the operational contact point of the contractor/consortium for the Contracting Authority.

At least 1 senior expert in high level business partners' search and onboarding, in charge of the search, onboarding and follow up of business partners/large corporations.

At least 1 senior expert in business matching conversion, development support and Venture clienting, responsible for the support provided for selected EIC Awardees after the matching & pitching day in all the activities to be organised. He/she will be supporting/mentoring EIC Awardees and corporations by acting as 'adviser', counsel and strategist also on legal and financial matters with the objective of facilitating the progression of that interaction towards concrete business impact and industrial adoption.

3.2.3 · Technical and Professional Capacity

At least 1 senior expert in business and investment readiness through training and coaching, responsible for the preparation of the selected EIC Awardees to profit their participation in the programme activities, including the preparatory workshop and trainings organised before each programme activity.

3.2.3 · Technical and Professional Capacity

At least 1 senior operational expert, responsible for the coordination and operational management of the support needed for the ECN management, including stakeholder engagement with senior corporate representatives, organisation of high-level meetings and events, preparation of supporting materials, coordination of follow-up actions, and management of related administrative, logistical and communication tasks.

3.2.3 · Technical and Professional Capacity

At least 1 senior expert in logistics and event organisation, responsible for logistics and organisation of all the events of the programme, specially the corporate, multicorporate and the other adapted/experimental formats.

3.2.3 · Technical and Professional Capacity

At least 1 senior expert in community management and communication, responsible for the management of the EIC-CPP communication/dissemination of the programme, including all its activities, the dissemination of their impact and the editing/check of all the content published about the programme. She/he will be the unique contact point for communication activities with the Contracting Authority.

At least 1 expert in data collection and reporting, responsible for data collection and reporting from all the activities of the programme.
