Services to run, further develop and strengthen the European Business & Biodiversity Platform in the period 2026 - 2029 (phase 6) to continue the succesful work of the EU B&B platform over the previous periods. This is a vital element of the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy.

Tenderers (sole tenderer or group leader only) must prove that they have legal capacity to perform the contract subject to this call for tenders.
Tenderers must comply with the following selection criteria in order to prove that they have the necessary economic and financial capacity to perform the contract.
The tenderer must prove experience in the following fields: Projects directly supporting businesses and working with businesses to deliver on or contributing to: a) methodologies for biodiversity measurement and management in the private sector enabling to assess, quantify and value impacts and dependencies on natural capital, with a view to integrating them in decision making, b) biodiversity aspects of business operations e.g. including environmental concerns and biodiversity management in business operations, business plans, business models, risk assessments and management, c) preparing reports and development of guidance aimed at the business community and/or easy to use online tools for business allowing to integrate the state of biodiversity, ecosystems and ecosystem services related to business (impacts and dependencies) in biophysical, accounting and valuation terms, d) consulting for business sectors on key business functions such as finance, purchase, product design.
Ability to engage with the private European business community and to organise and mediate technical stakeholder and business meetings, and to carry out surveys.
The tenderer must prove capacity to work and engage with the international business community in English, in different EU and non-EU countries, with a minimum of 3 countries.
The tenderer must prove capacity to draft reports in English.
The tenderer must demonstrate knowledge of, and demonstrated capacity to work with communications, as well as web site design, web content creation, web publishing, and social media, and organise webinars and web streamed events, by providing 2 examples of projects of more than EUR 500,000 each which included such communication activities.
Conference organisation.
The team delivering the service should include, as a minimum, the following profile: Project Manager: At least 7 years' experience in project management, including overseeing project delivery, work with partners, quality control of delivered service, client orientation and conflict resolution experience in projects of a similar size, using English as main language, of at least 500,000 euro and covering at least 5 countries, with experience in management of teams of at least 5 people.
At least 3 members of the team should have at least C2 level in the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages in English, other members at least B2.
Experts in biodiversity measurement and management and biodiversity aspects in business and finance: At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of corporate environmental management or finance/accounting working with sustainability/environmental criteria. Relevant higher education degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
Expert(s) in communication, editing and proof reading, graphic and web design with at least 3 years' professional experience in the field.
Expert in event organisation, such as international conferences, with at least 3 years' professional experience in the field.
