Minimum Economic and Financial Capacity: The tenderer must have generated an overall annual turnover of at least 160.000 € in each of the last 3 closed financial years (2022, 2023, 2024).
Professional Capacity at Organisational Level: The tenderer must have extensive and demonstrable experience in preparing scientific publications and technical reports, and extensive and demonstrable experience in the performance and evaluation of BI analyses, including all the below points: · Expertise in analysing sequencing-based biological data (e.g., experience working with whole-genome, transcriptomic, or microbiome datasets) · Expertise in programming ability in at least one scientific or statistical language (e.g., proficiency in Python, R, or a similar language used for data analysis) · Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures (e.g., managing high-volume sequencing data or multi-sample omics datasets) · Ability to design reproducible workflows and document computational procedures (e.g., structuring analyses using pipelines, scripts) · Familiarity with bioinformatics concepts, biological databases, and modern molecular biology (e.g., understanding gene regulation, genomics, or sequencing technologies) · Expertise in generating, collecting and organising data, using relevant methodologies and ability to understand and interpret reports to compile the evidence.
Minimum Professional Capacity - Expert Team Requirements: a) 1 expert in Bioinformatics with at least 10 years of experience relevant to the task as described in section 1.2 (e.g. allergenicity prediction, similarity to toxins, compiling databases for similarity searches, BLAST, FASTA, sliding window approach, off-target analysis for RNAi); The expert shall hold a doctoral degree (PhD) or an equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the subject matter of the call. b) 1 expert in molecular biology and Bioinformatics with at least 5 years of experience relevant to the task as described in section 1.2; The expert shall hold at least a Master's degree (MSc) or an equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the subject matter of the call. c) One of the experts must have at least 5 years of experience in BI data management; d) One of the experts must have at least 5 years of experience in managing/coordinating scientific projects, ensuring on-time delivery of project outputs. The tenderer shall ensure that the team comprises a minimum of two experts: one expert possessing all qualifications and experience as specified under point (a), and one expert fulfilling the requirements detailed under point (b). The composition of the team must guarantee that all specified expertise areas are fully covered, either by dedicated individuals or, where appropriate, by team members holding multiple relevant competencies. In addition, the tenderer shall be able to process multiple requests at the same time (e.g. Task 1 in section 1.3 may be requested simultaneously for 2 or more events).
Minimum Professional Capacity - English Language Capacity: The team of experts must have overall an excellent level of spoken and written standard UK English. For non-native speakers, this must be demonstrated by an Official certificate of English proving a C1 level OR at least 3 years of work in an English-speaking environment or 5 years of experience in international projects where English is the working language.
