Purchase of furniture and office accessories.

Official description

The European Parliament needs to update its range of furniture in order to meet new space requirements, be in line with changes in technology and working methods, follow developments related to occupational well-being and provide a suitable working environment for its staff. The European Parliament has, via a formal consultation, asked the other institutions and bodies on the Brussels and Strasbourg sites whether they intend to participate. The European Court of Auditors, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Committee of the Regions, the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Ombudsman, the European Data Protection Supervisor and the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union have responded positively.
