Request of service to provide a well structured, traceable logistics framework that enables the successful execution of the IEA Task 53 test campaigns on bi-directional charging system at JRC Ispra.

Official description

Description: The scope of this procurement is to provide specialized organizational, server-based documentary, and logistic support services in the context of very strategic testing-campaigns that will be carried out by the JRC. Specifically, these campaigns concern pre-normative testing of bidirectional charging technology, involving bidirectional charging column prototypes, electro-technical and ICT-analysis devices, and bidirectionally charging EV-prototypes, and thus require a high degree of specialists’, technological competence of the service provider in this field. The JRC intends to undertake these pioneering experimental campaigns from 2026 until 2028, in order to do successful pre-normative research on new, bidirectional charging technology dedicated to the EU market, and thus directly serving future standardization input, as well as EU-legislative and regulatory policy support in this field.
